EUBAM announced Tuesday that as a follow up on the prior basic training course, it launched on 6th of November the advanced four-day training course on the use of open-source intelligence, including social media.
The course is to strengthen the Libyan law enforcement and cross-border agencies’ capacity to combat the increasing sophistication of terrorist and criminal organizations.
A variety of actors, including the Criminal Investigation Directorate, the General Administration of Anti-Narcotics, and the Libyan Counter Terrorism Centre, came together for this joint training course, and at the same time enhancing inter-agency cooperation and interoperability.
