Libya’s Public Prosecutor has ordered the pretrial detention of a Libyan and 8 foreigners apprehended red-handed for smuggling 100,000 litres of diesel to a transport ship anchored off the coast of the city of Zuwara.
The Public Prosecutor’s Office reported that this is not the first time those arrested had smuggled fuel. The Office reported that it will pursue the rest of the accomplices locally and internationally.
