Libya and Italy discuss implementation of several joint communications sector projects

The head of the Public Authority for Communications and Informatics, Abdulbaset Al-Baour, discussed with Italian Ambassador to Libya, Gianluca Alberini, the implementation of several joint projects and implementation plans in accordance with the National Communications Strategy.

The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation and partnership between Libya and Italy in the fields of communications, information technology, digital transformation, capacity building and exchange of experiences between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by the directors of the Commercial and Economic Office and the Financial Police Office at the Italian Embassy, the Director General of the National Authority for Information Security and Safety, the Director General of the General Administration for Sector Development, and the Deputy Director General of the Information Technology Center.
