Libya’s Airports Authority reported yesterday that work of the maintenance of Ubari airport runway is progressing.

It said the implementation of the works of the first layer that connects the entire runway and the connecting corridor have been completed. Preparations are now underway for paving the second layer, it added.

The Ubari airport maintenance project is part of the Libyan Airports Authority’s overall plan to maintain and upgrade airports across the country. This will facilitate passenger travel and commerce.
