The Italian embassy in Tripoli announced Tuesday that it is to start using a new Italian visa processing company, Almaviva. There will be visa processing centres in Tripoli, Benghazi and Misrata.
The embassy informed that the new company will be using an innovative appointment system to secure unequivocal identification of visa applicants with facial recognition and advanced biometric security checks.
