At the opening of the ‘‘Made in Libya’’ event in Niamey, Niger, Aldabaiba looked forward to the new transit trade road

He said the start of the Misrata – Tamanhint – Agadez road project will revive the historic caravan route.

The Misrata Free Zone and Libyan ports have plans that offer domestic and foreign companies the opportunity to invest.

He said Libya will work to complete commercial and development projects that match its vision in dealing with the immigration file.

Aldabaiba said he looked forward to a vital role for the Islamic Bank to support economic projects related to transit trade and the private sector.

On politics, Aldabaiba said Libya and Niger have a common history and destiny, and the two countries will not fall into projects attempting to cause division.

He said the two countries have the will to confront terrorism and immigration and to enhance cooperation in various fields.

The positions of the two countries are more harmonious within the African Union and the CEN SAD Community of Sahel and Sahara states, he concluded.
