The organizer of the Libya Industries Exhibition 2023 announced that a special flight from Tunisia will be arranged for business leaders to visit the exhibition.

The event will be held in Misrata from 25 February to 2 March.

The organisation of the flight by the Libyan side shows the growing importance they perceive of bilateral trade with neighbouring Tunisia. This follows numerous meetings, conferences, and events at governmental, municipal and chamber of commerce level between the two countries in recent years.

It will be recalled that for decades under their authoritarian rulers the two countries had feigned at economic interdependence but post their Arab Spring revolutions the two countries are acting at consolidating and developing this relationship.
