A memorandum of understanding was signed yesterday between the Office of Entrepreneurship and Microenterprise Incubators at the Ministry of Local Government and the Administration of Incubators and Business Centres in the National Program for Small and Medium Enterprises (Enterprise Libya).
Ramadan Abumiswag, the head of the Incubators and Business Centres said the MoU entails supporting entrepreneurs at the local government level through the various councils and municipalities by creating incubators through the SME’s department’s Business Centres.
The MoU will focus on the USP’s and strengths of the different councils encouraging their leverage to the advantage of young budding entrepreneurs.
The two signatories will also seek to cooperate in networking events, training, consultancy, events etc, the Ministry of Local Government said.
