The South Korean embassy will start to process visa applications from Tripoli ‘‘soon’’. The revelation was made by the Libyan government after incumbent caretaker prime minister Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba met South Korean ambassador Lee Sang-soo in his office on Wednesday.
During their meeting, Aldabaiba had stressed the need for Korean companies to return to Libya and resume their work, especially in the field of electricity, and the need to collect visas for Libyans to improve the movement of the private sector.
The Libyan government reported that the meeting reviewed the historical relationship between South Korea and Libya, and ways to support cooperation between the Libyan and Korean private sectors, especially in the field of trade. They also discussed the expansion of activity in the field of oil and gas.
