The Italian embassy in Tripoli announced on Thursday that 60 Libyan Italian language teachers had completed their training at Ca’ Foscari’s Venice University, Italy.
Another 30 teachers will soon attend training at the Università per Stranieri di Siena.
The embassy said that thanks to the concrete implementation of the MoU signed in 2020 and the joint efforts of the respective Ministries of Education, starting from the next 2022/23 academic year, the Italian language will be an elective subject for Libyan secondary school students.
