An agreement was signed last Monday for Bab Tripoli project between the Libya Telecom and Technology Company (LTT) (a subsidiaries of the state Telecom Holding Company, LPTIC) and the state Libyan Investment and Development Company (LIDCO).

The agreement sees LTT provide LIDCO’s Bab Tarabulus (Tripoli Gate) project with the latest technologies for communication and internet services, by implementing a high-speed fibre-optic network (FTTx).

LPTIC said this agreement came as one of the steps taken by its affiliated companies to achieve the sector’s vision for the year 2025, support digital transformation, establish a stable infrastructure, which leads to creating effective communication between the citizen and the world around him.
