The International Forum & Exhibition for Free Zones – Misrata will be held from 28 to 29 June at the Misrata Free Zone (MFZ), the organisers the MFZ said.
The event is under the auspices of the Libyan Ministry of Economy and Trade.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Economy’s Private Sector Development and Investment Department met with the MFZ’s organising committee ‘‘to get acquainted with the latest developments and the final preparations to reach the desired goals of holding it.’’
The organisers reported that during the event ‘‘the strategy of the Ministry of Economy and Trade will be presented and investment opportunities for the Misrata Free Zone will be presented.’’
The Ministry said the aims of the event are attracting foreign and local investment directed to the development of free zones, the participation of international institutions in activating the legislation and laws regulating free zones, and the promotion of partnership and international trade between free zones.
