The head of Libya’s Privatization and Investment Board (PIB)Jamal Nuseri met with the Director General of INTERWO and a member of the independent Turkish business association Musiad at the PIB’s Tripoli headquarters on Thursday.

The PIB reported that the talks centred on attempting to benefit from the experiences of Turkish companies in investment in waste recycling plants through which waste materials and household, industrial or agricultural waste are reprocessed.

This, it added, is in order to reduce the accumulation of waste and the harmful effects it causes, and reuse recycled waste in different industries and products.

The PIB said this comes in the context of creating opportunities for diversifying the national economy and encouraging investment in various fields.
