London, 6 October 2021:

The Libyan embassy in Kiev, Ukraine announced yesterday that it is to convert an idle building belonging to the Libyan Foreign Investment Company into 58 luxury hotel apartments.

The embassy said the move comes from the point of view of its responsibility towards following up on property and interests of the Libyan state in Ukraine.

It said the transformation of the building into 58 luxury hotel apartments will begin before the end of this year, and that the reasons for the delay in its implementation are due to the complete shutdown that resulted recently from the Corona pandemic.
