Italy’s Solidarity Bridge has delivered medical equipment and generators to Libyan hospitals in Emsaed, Guba, Mrada and Sebha, the Italian Embassy in Tripoli reported Friday.
The deliveries come as support for urgent needs of the local population, the embassy added. They also comes as part of Italy’s Support Bridge Phase 2 programme.
This is an Italian initiative financed by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Migration Fund aimed at delivering concrete and urgent supplies in 24 Libyan municipalities and local hospitals across Libya, in coordination with the Libyan government, and its Ministries of Local Government and Health.
