London, 12 August 2021:
The UNDP reported yesterday that it had delivered 20 ventilators to Libya. It comes as part of a joint initiative between the UNDP, the Libyan Ministry of Health, the Stabilization Facility for Libya and support from 13 international partners.
The UNDP says there is a significant and urgent need for medical equipment to enhance the COVID-19 capacity responsiveness of the healthcare facilities across Libya. The equipment will help to provide better services to patients affected by COVID-19 and save lives in several municipalities across Libya.
