London, 18 August 2021:
Libya’s Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation has formed a committee headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation, and with the membership of the Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Technical and Technical Education, and Education, to study and work out a plan to harmonize the outputs of education and the requirements of the labour market.
This, the Ministry stated, is due to the imbalance between the outputs of Libya’s educational system and the requirements of its labour market.
This has led to shortcomings, it added, in achieving sustainable development, due to the increase in the number of students and graduates and the horizontal expansion of universities and colleges, and its effects in general.
