London, 5 July 2021:

A delegation from Albayrak Holding Company, a huge multi-sector Turkish conglomerate, headed by its owner, chairman of the board of directors and general manager, in addition to a group of directors of its affiliated companies, visited the Misrata Free Zone (MFZ) yesterday.

MFZ reported that the company’s visit was to consider investment opportunities and advantages and exemptions it offers. It was also following up procedures for opening a branch within the free zone and establishing a (free zone) logistic centre for dry and cold storage operations, a group of buildings affiliated to the logistic centre and complementary to its operations.

The delegation also visited the port and the company’s site within the free zone which was designated for the company to establish its direct investment activity.
