London, 8 July 2021:

Libya is to organize an exhibition in the Tunisian capital to be held for the first time under the slogan “Made in Libya”, targeting 150 Libyan factories and companies.

The revelation was made yesterday by Minister of Industry and Minerals Ahmed Abuhisa during his opening of the Misrata International Exhibition for Furniture and Home Furnishing which started yesterday in the city of Misrata.

Abuhisa said that his message as an official in charge of industry in Libya is the need to have an actual industry in the country.

The Minister stressed his quest to localize industry in Libya through several programmes, inviting all exhibition participants to open channels of communication with the Ministry.

The Minister toured the exhibition halls accompanied by the Turkish Consul General in Misrata and the Chairman of the Libyan Iron and Steel Company (LISCO).
