Parliament, the House of Representatives (HoR), ended its session today without reaching a decision on the troublesome 2021 draft budget. The session was attended by Prime Minister Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba and several of his Ministers.
HoR head Ageela Saleh decided to dedicate the session to hearing a report from the government on its achievements over the last three months according to the programme it had submitted to the HoR when it was granted confidence.
The files that were discussed were: health, confronting the Corona pandemic the electricity crisis, support for the High National Election Commission (HNEC), and several service files.
The session was suspended until tomorrow to discuss the budget.
