The Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohamed Hwej, announced yesterday that Benghazi’s Juliana Port would become a free trade zone.
The Minister made his announcement during his tour of Benghazi where he had several meetings and visited various ports, markets and met with Benghazi Municipality.
During his tour of the ports he followed up on work progress and coordination between all the competent authorities in organizing export and import operations and on putting forward proposals that contribute to developing performance and raising the level of trade exchange.
