Tripoli University will be hosting the Renewable Energy Exhibition from 23-24 June.

It is organized by the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre at the University of Tripoli and the Libyan Desert Renewable Energy Company.

Organizers say the event will be the opportunity to get acquainted with the largest Libyan companies working in the field of solar and renewable energy.

Solutions to power cuts

The organizers say Libyans who have been suffering from frequent and long power cuts over the last decade and want water heating or water pumping systems operating through solar energy can view competitive offers at the event.

But they say that the event is also an ideal linking point between the consumers, the private sector and researchers in order to promote renewable energies in Libya.
