London, 30 June 2021:
The U.S. Embassy revealed today that its representatives attended the MoU signing ceremony formalizing a partnership between the Libyan Customs Authority and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Container Control Programme (CCP).
The Embassy said the work outlined in this MoU is critical to strengthening Libya’s border security at key ports. The project, it added, is made possible with funding through the U.S. Department of State’s Export Control and Border Security Program (EXBS).
