London, 13 April 2021:

Libya is discussing with Turkey the setting up of a mechanism for the return of Turkish companies to resume some important contracted, but stalled, projects, restore contractual balance on these contracts, and conclude new agreements for other important projects, including the completion of the Third Ring Road.

The discussion took place yesterday in Ankara between Libya’s Minister of Housing and Construction Abubaker Al-Ghawi and Turkish Minister of Environment and Urbanization, Murad Karum during a visit by the Libyan government led by Abd Alhamid Aldabaiba.

Libya’s Minister of Housing and Construction added that opportunities to contract with Turkish companies are widely available in terms of price and the time period for delivery.
