London, 2 April 2021:

The National Program for Small and Medium Enterprises discloses the date of the launch of the Libya International Forum for Small and Medium Enterprises.

The Libyan Ministry of Economy’s National Program for Small and Medium Enterprises announced last Tuesday (30 March) it will be holding the Libya International Forum for Small and Medium Enterprises in its first version from 3 – 6 October this year under the slogan “Small and medium enterprises and their role in supporting the national economy”.

The event aims to spread the culture of entrepreneurship and creativity, attract owners of ideas and small and medium enterprises, and support them to contribute to the advancement of the local economy and industry.

It hopes to attract youth in development and achieving economic diversity through trade, industrial and agricultural professions and crafts. The Economy Ministry indicated that it pays great attention to the Small and Medium Enterprises Programme and which is among the priorities of its work during the coming period.

The forum will also hold workshops on national strategies for small and medium-sized enterprises, financing problems for projects and the infrastructure that help launch small and medium-sized enterprises.
