The Tobruk Corniche construction project is making good progress, the implementing company, Al-Amira Construction company reports.
The seafront had been neglected for years if not decades, receiving little attention or investment over the last decade and even under the Qaddafi regime.
The new project has beautified the seafront with paving, borders, and trees to make it a focal point for families, walkers, joggers and the like.
The company says the project is ongoing with seating and lighting still to be completed.
