Libyan Egyptian Joint Economic Chamber discusses organizing return of Egyptian workers to Libya

(Libyan Egyptian Joint Economic Chamber).

By Sami Zaptia.

(Libyan Egyptian Joint Economic Chamber).

London, 2 March 2021:

The Libyan Egyptian Joint Economic Chamber discussed the organization of the return of Egyptian workers to Libya in a regular manner. This came during a meeting of the Joint Chamber with the Giza Chamber of Commerce yesterday in Cairo.

Hani Safrakis, Co-Chair of the Joint Chamber, said that after the state of stability in Libya during this period and the endeavour to unify the country under a single consensual government, it was necessary to make all efforts to advance the Libyan state to a new economy and large development in the coming period.

It was, therefore, necessary to discuss ways to attract Egyptian workers to Libya in a systematic manner and away from the historical operations of labour trafficking and illegal immigration that they occupy the weak souls.
