Libya and Tunisia discussed the creation of a cross border municipality bloc to increase economic development.
The matter was raised during a meeting Sunday of Libya’s Acting Local Government Minister, Abdelbari Shinbaro, with Tunisia’s Ambassador to Libya, Al-Asaad Ajili and Essam bin Youssef, Vice President of the Tunisian Business Council.
The two discussed partnerships between Tunisian and Libyan businessmen on how to benefit from Tunisian expertise in the fields of municipal work.
They also discussed intensifying coordination and communication, with the aim of proposing projects and programmes that will develop cities in the two countries and create jobs for graduates and job seekers.
