London, 29 January 2021:

Four days and thirty hours of training for 24 Libyan municipalities ended in Tunis yesterday. The training was conducted by ANCI, the National Association of Italian Municipalities and AICS, the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation.

The training, part in person and part virtual, was delivered to municipality mayors and administrators from across Libya. All of the material was made available in Arabic.

It aimed to strengthen the capacities of Libyan municipalities in the organization of basic services, making them more accessible to the population, to favour dialogue and collaboration between Libyan administrations and local communities.
