Misrata Municipality discusses recycling project with turkish company Partner Technic

London, 25 November 2020:

Misrata Municipality held a meeting yesterday, in the presence of the Chairman of the of the Libyan Iron and Steel Company (LISCO), and the Director of the Misrata General Company for Cleaning and Public Services, with representatives of Turkish company, Partner Technic, which specializes in the fields of industry and waste recycling and energy production.

During the meeting, a proposal submitted by the Turkish company to dispose of the Municipality’s daily waste, to recycle it, and to use it in the production and generation of electric power, was discussed.

The company presented a feasibility study for establishing the project, in line with the waste situation inside the Municipality, in addition to discussing identification of the project site.

The project aims to be an environmentally friendly project, not produce any harmful waste, the Municipality reported.
