London, 15 October 2020:
Libya and Spain discussed airport development, Libya’s Airports Authority (LAA) reported on Tuesday (13 October).
The discussions came during a meeting between the LAA, Spain’s Communications Minister and Ambassador in Tripoli last Tuesday.
The LAA reported that during the meeting, several topics were discussed, including the contribution of Spanish companies to the development and rehabilitation of Libyan airports, and coordination to visit Spanish airports for the purpose of transferring knowledge and raising the efficiency of Libya’s airport service cadres and getting to know the Spanish manufacturers in this field.
They also discussed Spain’s contribution to lifting the air embargo on Libya, cooperation in the field of radar coverage, air navigation and training, and the extent of the contribution of the support of the Spanish embassy in Libya to obtaining visas when resuming studies and conducting training programmes in Spain.
