London, 5 September 2020:

As part of its efforts in continuing medical education, the Educational Centre of the Department of Orthopaedic and Joints Surgery at the Tripoli University Hospital (TUH) launched on Thursday (3 September) medical training through video conference by directly linking doctors in a number of hospitals in Tripoli, Benghazi, Misrata and Sabrata, using Zoom technology.

The educational program reviewed the services provided to two patients from hospitals in Tripoli. The head of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr Saleh Abu-Mahara, confirmed that this programme is aimed at transferring experience between doctors remotely to upgrade the professional level in the field of medical work.

He also added that it aims to build effective relations between doctors and medical institutions and qualify effective medical staff to be relied upon in orthopaedic surgery.
