London, 31 August 2020:
Eastern Libya yesterday reopened all its land, sea and air borders. The Borders Security Directorate said the decision was based on advice from the Anti-Coronavirus Advisory Committee.
The eastern authorities reported that the procedures for reopening their borders will include the issue of a monthly periodic list to classify countries of the world into red and green categories according to their epidemiological situation.
The procedures also include preventative measures for passengers, including a medical certificate of the results of a PCR Coronavirus test proving no infection, which must not be older than 48 hours.
