London, 8 July 2020:

A meeting of numerous Libyan stakeholders involved with the resumption of construction at Tripoli International Airport was held in Tripoli yesterday, Libya’s Airports Authority (LAA) reported.

The LAA reported that the meeting discussed procedures for the resumption of the construction of the passenger terminal at the airport, including the necessary security arrangements needed for the return of the Italian company contracted by the LAA to implement the constructing of the passenger terminal.

The completion of other maintenance projects contracted to be implemented by local companies and complementary to the project of construction of the terminal, which is part of the rehabilitation plan of Tripoli International Airport, were also discussed.
