Libya has announced that there are now a total of 17 Coronavirus cases and one death in the country linked to the pandemic (NCDC).

London, 4 April 2020:

Libya announced six new cases of Coronavirus (Covid-19) late last night, bringing the total cases in the country to 17. One death was announced on 2 April.

The country’s National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said that it had received a total of 20 samples to check but 14 samples turned out to be negative.

The NCDC revealed no further details about the cases in its statement as in their gender or location. This has not stopped Libyan media from announcing some as yet unconfirmed details about the cases.
