London, 12 December 2019:

Libya’s Iron and Steel Company (LISCO) has announced that it has manufactured locally its first ever rolling mill (130×130). The mill has gone into operation at the steel bars factory number two, LISCO announced today.

The company said that manufacturing the mill locally would save the company the burden of having to import it from abroad using scarce hard currency. The company expressed its pride in the achievement and pride in its local talent.
