Mitiga airport was the subject of an air raid early this morning by the Khalifa Hafter Libyan National Army (LNA) Air Force.
Mitiga airport confirmed that flights continued to operate normally as no part of the civilian airport was damaged.
The LNA’s War Media Division said that the LNA’s Air Force targeted a drone on the site. It claimed that LNA fighter jets pursued and targeted a ‘‘Turkish drone’’ as it landed at Mitiga airport – after it had raided LNA forces.
