London, 23 May 2018:
The UN has condemned yesterday’s ISIS terror attack on the LNA’s ‘‘checkpoint 60’’ south of Ajdabiya. Two LNA soldiers were reported killed and two were injured.
ISIS had claimed responsibility for the attack, saying that it was conducted by an ‘‘Egyptian’’ using a car bomb.
The UN said in its condemnation that ‘‘the upsurge of ISIS-claimed attacks is a serious threat that should not go unnoticed by Libya and the international community.’’
