301 Infantry Battalion have posted a photo of a man who they say kidnapped and killed his 11-year old cousin

Tunis, 15 December 2017

A Wirshefana man has been arrested, accused of kidnapping and murdering his 11-year-old cousin after the boy’s parents were unable to pay a ransom.

According to 301 Brigade, Maadani, who it says has a criminal record, confessed to seizing his cousin Ahab Nuri Al-Maadani in front of the boy’s home in Ghut Abu Saq between Swani and Janzur. When the family did not pay, his gang killed him and dumped the body by the roadside.

The brigade says that the rest of the gang is in hiding, but it is searching for them.
