Tripoli, 17 July 2017:
Just two days after re-starting flights at Benghazi’s Benina airport, Afriqiyah Airways today launched a new route between Benina and Zintan. In addition to the Monday return flight, there is another on Fridays.
The service should make life easier for Zintan residents. They have had difficulties travelling via Tripoli because of the town’s political support for the Libyan National Army and the House of Representatives.
Meanwhile, Libyan Airlines today announced that following the reopening o Benina, it is to add another four flights a week between Benghazi and Tripoli’s Mitiga airport. It is charging LD 221 for the round trip.
