Tripoli, 18 September 2016:
There are early reports of fighting breaking out in and around the eastern oil crescent.
It is believed that the Petroleum Facilities Guards (PFG) loyal to Ibrahim Jadran are attempting to recapture the oil ports and terminals lost to Khalifa Hafter and the Libyan National Army (LNA) forces last week.
Unconfirmed early reports say that Jadran’s forces may have entered Sidra and Ras Lanuf oil terminals, whilst other reports say his attack was pushed back.
