A popular TV actor disappeared yesterday after leaving his home on Tripoli’s Airport Road.
Saad Al-Jazui, who presented a much-watched series of TV shows during Ramadan has not been heard of since he went out in the morning. His phone is switched off.
Family and friends fear that Jazui is yet another victim of the wave of kidnappings that has recently swept the city – a dozen so far this month. Jazui is originally from Benghazi but has lived in Tripoli for many years.
His old friend and co-star Fathi Kahlol who appeared with him in shows such as Al-Sous and Kamlat Hub is leading a campaign to find Jazui and has posted a telephone number 0925091169 on social media requesting any information about Jazui.
