Tunis, 1 July 2016:

Italy’s chargé d’affaires to Libya, Andreina Marsella, has had several days of talks with members of the Government of National Accord and top Tripoli officials on potential Italian assistance and expertise to help Libya rebuild.

In addition to meetings with Faiez Serraj, defence minister Mahdi Barghathi, foreign minister Mohamed Siala and the head of the State Council, Abdulrahman Sewehli, she also met with NOC chairman Mustafa Sanalla and Central Tripoli’s mayor Abdulrauf Beitelmal.

On Wednesday, she had talks with Saddek Elkaber, the Tripoli-based governor of the Central Bank of Libya.
