The justice minister in the Beida-based interim government led by Abdullah Al-Thinni, Mabrouk Grira, has . . .[restrict]died.
He is believed to have suffered a heart attack although, in a brief statement expressing its condolences, the interim government said that he had died after an illness. He died in hospital in Beida.
A member of the Warfala tribe and born in Bani Walid in 1959, he studied law at what was then Garyounis, now Benghazi, University where he graduated in 1981. He also studied in Morocco where he gained his doctorate in law in 2008. He became an attorney in the Appeal Court in 2009 and then in 2012, deputy head of the Appeal Court. [/restrict]
