Another ministry in Tripoli was handed over today to Presidency Council in preparation for the . . .[restrict]Government of National Accord (GNA) taking power. The Education Ministry, in east Tripoli’s Hani district is one of the largest in terms of staffing and budget. It is the tenth ministry to be delivered to the PC.
As with the other ministries, it was handed over to PC member Mohamed Al-Amari who is the designated Minister for Specialised Councils Affairs.
Amari was quoted by the Libyan new agency LANA saying that a new minister would be sworn in shortly and start work at the ministry.
The man selected to be the GNA’s education minister is Mohamed Khalifa Al-Azzabi. [/restrict]
