The head of the Libyan elders’ national reconciliation council, Sheikh Mohammed Al-Mubasher, has escaped an assassination attempt. He . . .[restrict]was shot at from a passing car in the Wadi Rabie area, east of the destroyed Tripoli International Airport but despite the barrage of bullets was not hit because of the distance and poor aim of the shooters.
He says he does not know the reason for the attack which happened on Friday night. [/restrict]
