Ghat, 1 December 2015:
Students in Ghat have embarked upon three days of peaceful competition to test their skills in . . .[restrict]a series of testing activities.
The town’s High Institute for Comprehensive Professions yesterday launched a test fest which includes contests between computer, accounting and civil engineering students. These range from problem-solving, not least on the chessboard, to encounters of the sports field with football, volleyball and table tennis.
The event is also an opportunity to welcome back to the institute, former students who graduated since 2004.
Organiser Mohammed Musharraf explained it was hoped that the three-day festival would galvanise the organisation.
“It comes after years of stagnation and decline at the institute” he said, “We decided on this initiative in order to get away from the purely academic atmosphere and show off our students’ skills in other areas”. [/restrict]
