Tripoli, 9 November 2015:
The Beida-based government has told in its Ministry of Finance and Planning to pay $7.5 . . .[restrict]million to the Libya embassy in Egypt to pay tuition fees for nearly four thousand Libyan students in Cairo.
The amount set aside to pay education fees is supposed to go to displaced Libyan students at all levels: primary, secondary and university.
There are no guarantees, however, that the money will be paid. The government is strapped for cash and numerous projects announced by it have not been funded, despite promises to the contrary. [/restrict]
