Tunisian Minister of Trade, Ridha Lahouel has confirmed that a free-trade zone will be created in . . .[restrict]the area of Shousha on the Tunisian-Libyan border.
Speaking at the end of last week during a visit to a primary school in Ksar Helal in Monastir governorate, he said that the zone would will be established as soon as possible as part of the redevelopment of Tunisia’s distribution system.
A second free trade zone would also be created on the Algerian border, he also disclosed.
Significant progress had already been made by the Trade Ministry in regards to the free zone in Shousha, the minister said. It would, he added, include a number of shopping centres. [/restrict]
