Benghazi, 28 July 2015:
A suicide car bomber posing as a refugee killed five soldiers today in Benghazi.
The man appears . . .[restrict]to have joined a procession of vehicles carrying people fleeing the intense fighting in the Soukh Al-Hout and Sabri areas.
As he was welcomed to safety by the troops, he reportedly slowed down among them and then detonated his explosives.
Jalaa hospital confirmed this evening that all five of the soldiers had died and that their bodies had been brought to its morgue.
There is reportedly considerable anger in the armed forces. The arrival of the refugees at the army lines had been negotiation by Daesh and military commanders. What was supposed to be an humanitarian gesture instead turned out to be a deadly trick. [/restrict]
